I get a login page when trying to access Proquest articles, how do I get access?
This is a work-around for when patrons try to access an article through Summon results and get to a Proquest login screen that does not allow access
To access Proquest articles:
-- Copy (Highlight, CTRL-C) the title of the article or resource you are trying to access from Summon
-- go to Proquest Central from the A-Z Databases list: https://libguides.ccp.edu/az.php?q=proquest%20central&v=5525
-- Once in Proquest Central, Paste (CTRL-V) the title of the resource into the Advanced Search box, and click the blue "Search" button
-- Your results should include the resource you were seeking. Click on the title of the resource to get to the Full Text.
-- once you get to the full text, you can download the article by using the "Save as PDF" option on the top left, and you save the citation by clicking the "Cite" button and choosing the correct Citation style from the dropdown list (usually MLA or APA)
